Overview

The 22nd annual International Multisensory Research Forum is a scientific meeting that aims to advance our understanding of how the nervous system processes information from multiple senses to shape both perception and action. This multidisciplinary conference features neuroscientists, psychologists, engineers, biologists, cognitive scientists and others coming together to present and discuss the most recent and impactful work in the field. Active topics of research include human and animal behavior, sensory anatomy and physiology, neural correlates of multisensory processes, computational modeling, perception, attention, development, adaptation, decision making, as well as clinical and technological applications.

Reno / Tahoe

The city of Reno is a 4-hour drive east of San Francisco in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Yosemite National Park is a 3-hour drive to the south, and Lake Tahoe is only a 45-minute drive from downtown. The city is a tourist destination due to the easy access to stunning outdoor recreation opportunities as well as numerous in-town entertainment options, inlcuding highly-rated restaurants, bars, and yes, casinos. The univerisity campus is located just north of downtown, within easy walking distance of hotels and entertainment districts. Conference Venue

The conference will take place June 17-20, 2024. The conference program on June 17th, 18th, and 20th will be held in the Davidson Math and Sciences building on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno. Daily parking passes may be purchsed by following the Registration link to the left.

On June 19th, the conference program and banquet dinner will take place at the North Tahoe Events Center on the beach at Lake Tahoe in the town of Kings Beach. Bus transportation to and from Lake Tahoe is included in the registration price. Guest registration for the lake and banquet is also available under the Registration page to the left.
